Co-host, "Morning Joe"
updated 5:59 p.m. CT, Thurs., April. 5, 2007
Willie Geist is a co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" and a regular commentator on MSNBC's "Tucker.” He is also a contributor to "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" and to NBC's "Weekend Today". In addition to his television duties, Geist hosts a satirical video blog on msnbc.com called Zeitgeist.

Geist joined MSNBC in April 2005 as a senior producer of "The Situation with Tucker Carlson." During the show’s development, producers decided Geist’s newsroom banter with Carlson ought to be televised. Since then, Geist has spent the last segment of "Tucker" (formerly "The Situation") reporting and offering his unique spin on the day’s news.

Geist came to MSNBC from the world of sports television. He was a producer and writer for the critically-acclaimed sports debate show "I,Max," hosted by Max Kellerman on Fox Sports Net. Before that, Geist gave up a promising post-graduate career of liquor delivery to enter journalism as an editor and producer for CNN/Sports Illustrated, a 24-hour sports network based in Atlanta. He later became a field producer and reporter for CNN Sports, where he covered The Super Bowl, The NCAA Final Four, The Masters and The United States Lawnmower Racing circuit.

Geist graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville where he was a contributing editor of The Vanderbilt Hustler, a school newspaper that is not nearly as kinky as it sounds. Geist lives in New York City with his wife and their daughter Lucie. He is proficient in Microsoft Word.Yeah, but who is he really??
I think He's a closet conservative!

EDIT: And kind of cute...not that there's anything wrong with that.

The guy is a news commentator with a sense of humor. Can't be a GOPer. They don't have a sense of humor that doesn't include wishing people dead from cancer, getting shot at an NRA meeting or loose shoes.

They don't have a sense of humor that doesn't include wishing people dead from cancer,Like this?Moments after White House Press Secretary Tony Snow's new personal battle against cancer became public yesterday, a vicious assault was launched at left-leaning websites, with some message posters hoping for a swift death for the presidential spokesman.

"Under the heading of 'What goes around comes around', the cancer in Tony Snow is removing the cancer of Tony Snow from the national scene," wrote TDoff on the D.C. gossip site Wonkette.com.

Omnilation wrote, "Dear Tony, I hate you. -God."

A contributor called homofascist stated, "It is a bitch that I wouldn't wish upon even a smarmy, evil f---face liar like Snow. Because really, isn't he OUR smarmy, evil f---face liar?"

"Sure holding all that bulls**t in your gut would make anybody sick..!"

"The growth in his abdomen is his head stuck up his a**. F**k him!! He is pure lying scum and should die ASAP!!" http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=54911

Don't even try to compare what anonymous people on blogs and forums say to what a TV personality who shows his face on TV actually says. That pig don't fly.
