What I understand is that assholes in public life often misrepresent themselves as being something they are not. A real libertarian would not stand for public office because he would want the government to be very limited and very small and the contradiction would eat away at him all the while.

It's a political forum of course its gonna get heated here, as with any other forum. And its not like hes running for office anyway so he could learn something rather than being told by other people what is and isn't true.

In my (recent) experience....a dramatic exit can be useful to enact change as seen in ones personal perception, unfortunately should you succeed in accomplishing the change...you are no longer there to taste the benefit of your actions...heh.
