Are you unemployed because your company outsourced your job overseas so that the execs could get a raise? That's not big government! That's a government that's not big enough!
Do you have to work 3 jobs just to pay bills? That's not big government! That's a government that's not big enough!
Don't have health insurance? That's not big government! That's a government that's not big enough!
Was your house destroyed by a disaster, and there's not been any recompense from insurance or the disaster agencies? That's not big government! That's a government that's not big enough!
Is your children not learnings? That's not big government! That's a government that's not big enough!
Can you not get married to the person you love? That's not big government! That's a government that's not big enough!
Government isn't too big! THE PURPOSE of government is to aid the people, and make the country a better place! Government exists for the people, not the other way around! We need to fight back every time we hear some rightwing blowhard spout their line about how government is too big, because it isn't too big - it's too small and venal! america is a big country, too big for small thinkers like Republicans! The government isn't big enough!
