Missy and I are from Debate Politics, it seems they have gone on something of a censorship venture that I personally am uncomfortable with, so I am taking a break from the establishment. I placed a minor link there stating I enjoy this forum, and likely some members will decide to check it out.

Sure I can reveal a few things. Yes, I am a female....been with the 1st love of my life for 25 years and the 2nd love of my life, our son, for 18 years. :peace:

I got interested/hooked on politics during the 2000 count/don't count debacle. I absolutely despise what Bush has done to our country's good standing in the world, the rights of citizens that his administration was able to abolish, the Iraq war, the American debt, the price of gas...I mean food...scratch that...let's go with everything.

........I think you get the gist of where I'm coming from.

I used to be an independent but after 2000 I promised myself I would do what I could in my own little way to support democrats for two presidential cycles.
After that it's put up or shut up again.

I was/am an Edwards fan, but after he dropped out, I got behind Obama and have been supporting him to become our next president.
