New to the DemocracyForums, but not new to political forums...
My sig name may be familiar to some of you ;)
I'm looking for a sane place for discussion without the flames, bashing, clique swarms or drama.
I live in Northeast PA with my partner of 11 years. We have 3 dogs and 5 cats (not a typo).
I work as a graphic designer/cad drafter. Dabble in watercolors when I have the time (my paintings can be seen at blueberry scribbles (http://blueberryscribbles.blogspot.com/).
I was a lifelong independent until 2001 when I went Democratic to allow me to vote in primaries. I freely admit that I have voted republican, democratic, libertarian, green, in any given election (local/state/national).
Politically, I'm on the left, but I don't drink the koolaid - I have "concerns" regarding all political parties and the current crop of presidential candidates. I did vote for Obama in the PA primary, however should Clinton be the nominee - she'll have my vote in November because we don't need another 4 years of Bush.
My rule of thumb regarding news stories is to disregard half of it, and question the other half.
Your turn to ask me anything.
