Well, Code Pink is trying a new angle to get rid of the Marine reqruitment office in Berkley. Witchcraft!
Code Pink Protesters Try Witchcraft at Anti-Marine Rallies
Code Pink is now resorting to witchcraft to beef up the number of its supporters protesting Berkeley's controversial Marine Corps Recruiting Center.
The women's anti-war group has told ralliers to come equipped with spells and pointy hats Friday for "Witches, clowns and sirens day," the last of the group's weeklong homage to Mother's Day.
"Women are coming to cast spells and do rituals and to impart wisdom to figure out how we're going to end war," Zanne Sam Joi of Bay Area Code Pink told FOXNews.com.
The group's week of themed protests, which included days to galvanize grannies and bring-your-daughter-to-protest, appears to have done little to boost its flagging numbers.
Capt. John Paul Wheatcroft said he's unfazed by Code Pink's antics.
"They're always in pink and wear funny things, half-shaved heads, one side with hair and the other one bald, yeah, I'm pretty much used to anything," he told FOXNews.com.
Now, this is rather ironic.
"Ironically, it's actually helped us by putting our name out. We're now well known. And people know who we are, and where we are, and they come in to talk to us about enlisting. They've gotten us the publicity that we could've never afforded to pay for ourselves," Wheatcroft told FOXNews.com.
"Just in the last three weeks, 10 people came in looking to apply, looking to become Marine officers, and that's much higher than normal," he said.
So, like most Liberal actions/policies, they don't accomplish anything they intended to accomplish, and even helped their "enemy" gain PR!
Kepp it up, Code Pink, and we will never need a draft!

I would resort to witchcraft too if my intellectual positions were so ridiculous.
Got to try something...
I think Gore should probably consider this as well.

Maybe Code Pink should resort to the ghost outfits, again? Or, maybe since that didn't do much, this time they could dress up as jack-o-lanterns.

Code pink are nuts, Zo.
The fact that some give them access to mainstream politics is amazing.
On 17 November 2002, Medea Benjamin, Miriam Simos a.k.a. "Starhawk", Jodie Evans, Diane Wilson and approximately 100 other Liberal women kicked off CodePINK. They marched through the streets of Washington DC and set up for a four month vigil in front of the White House in an effort to weaken and divide America. The name CodePINK is a play on the Bush Administration's color-coded homeland security advisory system that signals terrorist threats.
They call themselves "Anti-War" and "Peace" activists, but nothing could be further from the truth. "Anti-War" and "Peace" is nothing more than an elaborate cover. This label of "Peace" is a deception. CodePINK is just another group of anti-American protesters with very strong Communist and Marxist beliefs. Like all the other so-called "Peace Activists", they always seem to be part of the problem and never part of the solution. They seem to spend a considerable amount of time causing traffic jams and shouting their anti-American rhetoric calling our soldiers "Killers" and "Occupation Troops" with total disregard for the people that these actions affect. They do everything they can to divide America and never anything to unite America. They thrive and exist on any conflict that enables them to cause problems for other people they do not like. It is how they get attention. Anyone with an open mind can see their actions and rhetoric are not those of people filled with love or peace. They celebrate every American Soldier and Marine killed and wounded in Iraq. They detest and loathe the military as is displayed by their actions. These are miserable people filled with extreme and vile hatred toward anyone not sharing their same Marxist philosophies.
After all of their disruptive antics, then they ask for donations. That's right, these people that do what they can to empower Islamic terrorists want your money to advance these very goals - they want to help the very people that are trying to kill Americans. Like many of these groups, donations are often used to cover administrative costs, salaries, and for causing the problems previously mentioned while never actually solving the problem at hand. It is never money well spent. http://www.targetofopportunity.com/codepink.htm

Pres, did you actually read that? It's looks about as credible as code pink themselves.
why?.....
Because this is halloween garb:

I'll have to take your word for it, I guess, I'm not an expert on practicing witchcraft....

I am glad they are using non-violent methods.
They may be ineffective, but at least there's no explosions or blood.
Heh. More than you can say for the Marines they object to.
I went by that Marine office last month while I was visiting my son's place the next town over in Oakland.
Nothing was shaking; I guess CP does their thing on Thursday...

Well, Code Pink is trying a new angle to get rid of the Marine reqruitment office in Berkley. Witchcraft!
There are several possibilities, in order of decreasing likelihood:
1. All of the following.
2. Several of the following.
3. Fox News is lying, and largely made up the story out of a few fragments to titillate its fascist audience.
4. Fox News is lying about several key details to titillate its fascist audience.
5. Fox News is grossly distorting several key details to titillate its fascist audience.
6. Fox News is omitting several key details to titillate its fascist audience.
7. Code Pink is hosting a satirical/ironic themed event, and either failed to account for or, far more likely, simply doesn't care that fascists are incapable of appreciating either satire or irony.
So, like most Liberal actions/policies, they don't accomplish anything they intended to accomplish, and even helped their "enemy" gain PR!
What PR? Fox News is Republican pornography - it barely even rises to the level of propaganda on its more intelligent days.
Kepp it up, Code Pink, and we will never need a draft!
Right, you'll just hire foreign mercenaries and empty the prisons and psychiatric hospitals...like is already happening.

I have to confess that I keep a Bush doll on my desk. When I get angry at some of the stuff wingers post here, it's very satisfying to drive a screw into its body.

That's pretty much what it was. Since there was not link to the article, I did a search and it seems this is a story that only Fox thought important enought to print.........still curious and being an admitted chanel surfer, I did happen to catch Fox's coverage of thie big event......all of which were maybe 6 people, with normal business going on in the background and barely anyone paying attention to them.

I s'pose one could read it that way. :ponder: I had the screw running through his body on another occasion, and some rightie got all hot and bothered about that--said I was disrespecting the president :blah:
That's when I realized that a male Barbie doll could do as good a job as the current resident.
