One down...a zillion to go...
But at least it's one perv behind bars. I can't help but wonder what is wrong with these sickos. Maybe that's it; they're sick. I'm sure they need help and all that noise, but they can get it AWAY from society and children.

From CNN:

(CNN) -- A pedophile suspect who became the subject of an international manhunt this week after an appeal from Interpol has been detained in the United States.

Wayne Nelson Corliss was arrested at his New Jersey apartment.

Wayne Nelson Corliss, 58, was arrested at his apartment in Union City, New Jersey, about midnight Wednesday by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, Interpol said in a written statement.

He is believed to have worked as an actor using the name Casey Wayne and to have worked as a Santa Claus in New York during the holiday season, Interpol said.

Corliss appeared Thursday before a U.S. magistrate in Newark, New Jersey, but did not enter a plea.

During that appearance, prosecutors said he had confessed and acknowledged traveling to Thailand, where on three occasions he abused boys between 6 and 10 years old after using a madam to find them.

I don't know what I think about using American laws to prosecute activities which are legal in other nations.

If I go to Amsterdam and get high, I don't want to be arrested when I come home.

That to me would seem like living in Syria, not the USA.

However, he is guilty of CP, so that's fine. Nab him.

Seems like, though, all this world concern over child abuse might pressure nations who allow it to, I dunno, stop allowing it?

Wouldn't that do more to save the kids than hunting down one man who took advantage of local laws?

if Interpol is involved, it sounds like whatever he did wasn't exactly considered legal even in Thailand.

Glad he's in jail.
