I'm wondering, why does the bullet not just pass through those things? How does it make them explode up like that? It's not like a missile that explodes on impact. Like the mellon, you'd think it would just pass on through.

Its probably exaggerated but a bullet imparts energy to objects that it hits and creates paths larger than itself as it passes through... thus appearing to have an explosive effect.

OK, that's a good explaination, thanks.:worship:

What did it say at the end?

Stop the bullets. Kill the guns.

If you can take them from the criminals, I'll gladly give up mine.

As soon as...

I won't be holding my bref

How about they try "Kill the Criminals?" That sounds more probable.

How do you kill a gun?

Maybe you need to look at what countries with gun control are doing? In Australia, Uk and France you rarely have to worry about criminals with guns because they are so hard to get, even on the black market.

Somehow...I don't think that will work in the USA.

And I am not about to give up mine FIRST!

It's because of displacement.

The bullet has a certain amount of mass, and so does the object. As the bullet penetrates the object, the mass of that object is displaced by the mass of the bullet, and creates a sort of compression wave inside the object.
The compression wave has momentum, as it is mass in motion. The speed of that compression wave, is close to the speed of the bullet, so the mass of the object will keep in motion until the kenetic energy of the compression wave is exuasted. Because the speed of the bullet is so fast, that momentum will last beyond the boundery of the object, creating an exploding effect.

Well there first use was for making bills understandable to politicians.

But the usages were quickly expanded to all executives of all levels to pretend that they had a grasp of new concepts, mostly technical, but sometimes delving into the area of creative finances. :ponder:

interesting....I watched the video with the sound off, because I was on the phone.....when I got done, my first thought was "omigorsh, that video promotes killing black children, who put it out, the KKK?"......

added: now that I have watched it with the sound on, I find there are no words to add any meaning to the commercial......

There's no exaggeration in those pictures. As a former rifleman and gun aficionado, I've seen hundreds of pictures of objects exploding on the impact of a bullet. When I was a kid, we had several cans of home-packed cherries hat went bad, so I took them out for target practice. They made spectacular explosions shot from 50 yards with a .22. A higher-powered bullet would have vaporized them.

It's a very powerful ad.

Yeah I suppose. But somewhere out there, someone is thinking "why'd it have to be a black kid, why couldn't it be a white kid or an asian one?"
