This is what we've become. Looks just like nazi germany to me and
there's a whole bunch of people on this very site that eager to usher
in the madness and embrace it with open loving arms. Sick! Just sick!

Well the mods here are going to call this a joke I guess?

It's not.

No at all. I would like to suggest you move it right back. It's a serious
information piece actually - done in lashing sarcasm:

"For a creative writer possession of the "truth" is less important than emotional sincerity."

"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear."

You have got to be joking. That's surreal!

Welcome to the USA.

Things like this are why people are calling the USA the new Nazi Germany and Bush
the new Hitler.

Surreal describes it pretty well.

Again, please move this thread back to where it was. Thanks.

Ah..this is how we deal with the hard questions we face as a society, this is how we deal with uncomfortable truths...we treat them like a joke and pretend they are all conspiracy theories.....

At our own peril....

The mods of this forum not withstanding.

Exactly.

----
FireFox,

It's the commies that "made up" terrorism. There are thousands of times
more people killed everyday by eating bad tuna than by terrorism yet we
have to relinquish all our freedoms in the name of terrorism. I wanna see
them try that with tuna!

And just when they think enough people are catching on to them they'll
nuke an American city or blow another building up and say: "See we told
you so, now give us TOTAL control and dominance". And the mods on
this forum will be first in-line to hand over all their liberties. If indeed
they haven't already.

------

Again I request you mods to move it back to where it was originally posted.

Thank you.

Tessy, the video you posted was a parody, it was NOT real, that is why it was moved to political humor. If you want to discuss the merits, disadvantages, and pitfalls of a citizen corp, then you should have just discussed it and not just posted a parody video that was not real.

I've only ever had my liberty taken away from me forcefully, never willingly. I never flew with bottles of liquid so that nonsense never affected me, but I'm getting a bit tired of being taken aside, questioned and strip searched all the time just because I have a full and manly beard and don't wear blue jeans and a t-shirt.
Profiling is a bitch which is what that video is suggesting. Hitler would be proud.

Unfortunately, it wasn't white red-headed men from Ireland that flew planes into buildings. Nor was it latino gangs or the Black Panthers.

By the way, I am always taken aside and searched before boarding. When I travel for work, I often travel with electronics circuit boards in my bag, and I always get asked aside. Yes it's a drag, and I have to arrive early to get through the process, but at least I make it to my destination, alive.
Free-falling from 30,000ft without a parachute, is kind of a bummer day.

Besides, what good are your liberties if your dead?

What good are liberties if you're always treated with suspicion..spied upon, and treated as if you're guilty of something?

I worked too hard to build a name for myself, a name of honesty and integrity to have some goverment POS asshole who knows nothing about me assume I'm guilty of something and treat me like crap just for boarding a plane.

But if it doesn't bother you for people to assume you're a terrorist....

Nor was it bearded religious Muslims in traditional dress.

I expect though, that those were "profiled" for decades in Northern Ireland when the bombs were going off there.....

I know what you mean but for a realistic sense of things the meaning of the
terms "forcibly" and "willingly" come into question.

Take your drivers license for example. It's actually illegal and an infringement
on your liberties for the state to require you to have a license to drive. It's
even unconstitutional! But we all accept this infringement "willingly". There
are many MANY such things like mandatory insurance, the federal income
tax, and a HUGE long list that almost all of us comply with willingly but are
actually unconstitutional and illegal.

Many of them we accept because we're told from day-1 that it's common
sense and there just isn't any other way but when you step outside "the
system" mind for a moment that's really not true. The driver's license is
a great example. 's not needed for anything, it doesn't improve any conditions,
nor does it guarantee proficiency. On the outside extreme it MIGHT help keep
people involved in accidents more honest because they know the other driver
or the cops have their name - but that's about it.

The income tax is even less sensical! It goes toward nothing but paying the
interest on the national debt. Even though most people mistakenly think it
goes toward the infrastructure. The only real reason to pay it is that the IRS
has bigger guns than we do and and they do DEMAND their extortion money.
If you pay it "willingly" you're giving up your liberty. You are quite directly
admitting that the federal government owns your labor and therefor you
and is only "allowing" you to keep some of it.

I know what you meant but I just wanted to take the opportunity to point these
out. :D

Besides, what good are your liberties if your dead?

WTF???

What good is your life without full liberty? Haven't you heard all the quotes
on this topic?

Give me liberty or give me death.

People who are [only even] willing to sacrifice liberty for security end up with
[and deserve] neither!

etc. The same thinking that you just lobed into the thread here is EXACTLY
what allowed the Nazi atrocities to occur in WWII and is what is setting the
stage for them again in the USA. Seriously, people who believe that should
get the hell out of the USA! Maybe go live in China or something!

Like I say more people die from tuna than from terrorism so it's a VERY false
sense of security at that.
