The point is clear.

Bush is deteriorating rapidly.

Time to replace the old clone with a new clone...

NOTE: This is the conspiracy theory page, right?

I saw this before. I really wonder if those with alchohol problems that quit drinking have problems. It's really odd how his speaking is so different. However...public speaking isn't why a President should be elected.

No, but it sure helps them from looking like an idiot.

Looking and being are two different things.

I remember how everyone talked about how he was an idiot and how Gore was so much smarter than he was and we didn't want a dummy as President. Then '04 came around and we didn't hear much about that. Not long before the elections we find that Kerry had worse grades and a lower SAT score than Bush.

No one can make it that high up the ladder and be an idiot or simple minded. No one who has ever spoken to him in person and in private comes away with that opinion of him.

But if it makes you feel a little better about yourself, then feel free to continue it.

And SAT scores do not prove how intelligent a person is, it shows how well they can guess.

Elrathin, that is hilarious!

Had it been the other way around you would have been lauding John Kerry as a notable scholar whose academic performance proved his readiness to lead.

Care to show where I have done that? Oh wait that means you would have to prove something, we can't have that now can we?

So you really believe a multiple choice test shows how smart someone is?

SAT testing shows the capacity to maintain a body of information. Capacity, look it up.

Hypotheticals are lost on you in the process of debate I see. :)

Funny how you all say that now. I somehow doubt that would be the case if his were extremely low.

I said long ago that intelligence is not the only thing to look for in a leader and it is probably not even the first thing to look for in many cases.

But I do agree, SAT scores can be as political as they are anything else these days.

Capacity? Sorry I watched people just guess and get high scores. Hell I took my SAT after drinking the night before and scored high. GUESSING does not mean you are smart. THAT is the point, that is lost on you in the process of this debate.

You can doubt all you want. I don't believe in Standardized testing to test how smart someone is. Essays, works, thought processes on paper will show intelligence more than a standardized test.

I remember when Kerry was running against Bush, most people said that Kerry talked like he was smarter than the average American citizen. This worked against him and Bush came across as someone you could sit and have a beer with.

Sorry but you assume a knowledge of my argument that you just don't have. All any kind of standardized testing can prove is capacity for the maintenance of a body of knowledge.

Your extrapolation of that into any other idea is your own and is erroneous.
