If you would like to upload an image to insert into a post, it can be accomplished quite easily. Follow the steps below to go through a simple image upload example.

Step 1 - Scroll down below the text entry window while in the editor (not the Quick Reply editor) until you can see the Manage Attachments button. Click the Manage Attachments button to see the Manage Attachments pop-up. This pop-up gives you the ability to upload a file from your computer, to upload a file from a URL, and it gives you a list of file size limits by file type. The Manage Attachments pop-up should look like the image below.

Step 2 - Click the Browse button and select the image you wish to add to your post and click the open button. Click the Upload button on the Manage Attachments pop-up to upload the image. You can also upload an attachment from a URL by pasting the URL to a graphic in the Upload a File from a URL box and clicking the Upload button. Once the image is uploaded click the "close this window" link in the upper left hand corner of the Manage Attachments window to return to the editor.

Step 3 - Click the Attachments tool (the paperclip icon) in the editor toolbar to select the graphic to insert into your post, making sure that your cursor is in the location you wish your graphic to be placed. The tool will insert the attachment into your post between ATTACH tags. You should notice the number between the ATTACH tags is not the filename of your attachment, but is a numeric attachment number. See the example in the code box below for an example using the file attached to this post.

It really is easy, enjoy!
