I'm sure with this rate of growing Google will be the biggest company in IT field within next 5 years. Microsoft would be no match for them.

thats really cool, i remember using the internet in 1998, but i think i always used excite and yahoo as my search engines. I didnt start with google until about 2000. nice find though!

I remember using google back then. My class was doing a project on native americans, and they were all on sites the teacher told them to go to. I found google and got like 2 million results. Internet? Piece of cake....

I don't like the logo of it, but the backgrounds look way better.

I didn't know about internet @ '98 :P

That is a pretty good site for back in 1998 in my opinion :D
