He's known for a hot temper. He's said f uck you to another republican senator. "F uck you, I know more about this than anyone in the room." During a debate on immigration.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCAqm286eAM

He's snapped at journalists. Do we want an even tempered president, or a hot headed president who loses his temper a lot. McCain admits he has a bad temper and he says he's working on it. At 72 years old, shouldn't he have done that work long ago?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2D_mhqDRBY

He yelled at a woman who was trying to get the government to release papers dealing with MIA POWs in Vietnam. He made her cry even.

Here's McCain denying his temper and getting angry in the same interview.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcvSNxQqcmI

Republican Senator Thad Cochran says The thought of him being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He is erratic, he is hot headed, he loses his temper and it worries me.

Oh I loved that one..
He made her cry yet she kept her cool and made him look spineless in the end..
and the applause in the background when she would finish speaking.. you know that had to burn his ass...

A hot tempered republican with his hand on the button would make things more interesting wouldn't it?

Jericho anyone?

I just hope Americans can see who they are voting for this time. 8 years of a horrible president was enough. Now we need an excellent president to get us out of this.

That's just what we need, a foul mouthed senior citizen with a trembly hand, bad memory and nasty temper hovering over the red button...that should be Obama's next ad. LOL!

I question whether McCain will surive 4-8 years of being the president with his tendancy to get the blood flowing in situations that a younger, healthier obama would likely take in stride.

I can't stand this person. How on earth has he basically won the nomination?

What an asshole!

NO, I don't want this man in the White House!

I'm trying to figure out how that's different from what we have now. Maybe McCain isn't a hot tempered dumb republican. :ponder:

I don't know if this is anywhere on u-tube, but after one of the debates I saw him on CNN, a woman was asking him a question he didn't have a good answer to and when a bs answer didn't satisfy her, he said 'I don't have time for this' and proceeded to try and get away from her.

He had no one and nothing else vying for his attention, he just wasn't going to answer! He just kept brushing her off.

This is not the guy we need talking to foreign nations.

McCain's assholeness is legendary.
Him being an asshole on occasion will be exploited by the Dems and the MSM along with McCain's left-leaning policies concerning Man made GW, tax cuts, shutting down gitmo, anti-interrogation techniques, anti-free speech legislation, amnisty...And even the positions the Libs don't like.

McCain will be painted with the age brush, war brush, temper, low grades, philandering, insane, and cancer brush....etc.

His asshole brush will be the least of his worries.
By the time they're done, his asshole will be clean as a whistle!

I'm going to lose my temper now. I can't stand to look at him or listen to him talk. It's just blatantly obvious to me that he's a liar and a prick. When you're telling the truth, you don't get your back up every time someone asks you a question.

He's also extremely arrogant - he knows it all and isn't listening to anyone else.

HOW did he win? I couldn't bear to listen to him and Thompson so much to pay attention during their debates - looks like I should have so I could at least understand.

Hi, Mia!
There is a possibility that McCain won't actually be the GOP nominee.
Speculation is futile, but...
Don't count anything out.

Pansies is too kind a word...

Really, there was nothing they could do...all (most?) GOP primary states are winner-take-all.
BTW, McCain hardly got over 38% of the vote in the early primary states and almost none of the conservative vote.
Oh well.

IMO, he'll win...I just hope he takes a hard swing to the right once he is elected.

However I doubt he would nominate a strict constructionalist judge for the Supreme court.
Why would he pick some justice who would support the Constitution and overturn McCain/Feingold?
That is his Flagship, why would want to sink it?

Pres, stop with the blasphemy! McCain elected? And going further right?

May I borrow a line from Pookie?

You can't get anywhere the nomination for prez unless you ARE these days.

I still have a lot of respect for the man, and I actually LIKE him, temper and all. Or maybe BECAUSE of the temper. But he does have a history of working with both sides, which pisses off the right wingers no end. I like that too.

That is a gross exaggeration. Tears are a natural release of strong emotions. Healthy, thank you very much. McCain could use some more healthy ways of releasing emotion!

LOL, OK sure they all are. But some are more obvious about it. Like I said, it's a scary thought imagining McCain negotiating with other nations.

Even Hillary's harshness doesn't approach his out-of-control demeanor.

Like I said, it's a scary thought imagining McCain negotiating with other nations. It could be a problem, but he might just fool everyone and actually KEEP his cool when necessary. The other two are enigmas where temper is concerned.Even Hillary's harshness doesn't approach his out-of-control demeanor. She can afford to be cool. She leaves Bill to take care of the temper.

McCain has been overly jovial and comparitavely calm throughout this campaign so far.
Reports of his testiness in the Senate is well documented and actually legendary.

I don't think we'll ever find out. Considering how unpopular he is with the right, I still believe he's a "sacrificial" candidate who is SUPPOSED to lose.

But I'd sure like to hear him let loose with Congress. It would be a terrific State of the Union address.

If I was the only candidate remaining who

A. loves America
B. will defend America
C. won't take more of the people's hard earned money
D. has an actual resume
E. does not support socialism

and saw that I was only ahead be 6 and 8 points in the latest Rasmussen polls, I'd wonder what the hell is going on in this country and be quite angry myself

and Obama isn't sacrificial

they left is going to nominate someone who can't win the big states that are necessary for the general, specifically Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida

But I guess this is the Democrats strategy for winning

elect the less experienced candidate with the racist pastor who can't win a large diverse state

some winning strategy

Better then electing the candidate that is more likely to head our country down the continued road of economic downfall, endless wars, and corporate rule.
