Before my PM box gets more flooded that it already is, this is not Chess, it's an imposter and Zo will permantly take care of things when he gets on.
We took a vote on this with all members that were here at the time to see if you wanted him back, and it was a resounding NO!. We would not bring him back, in fact I doubt he would want to come back.

Well, speaking for myself, if I get a heart attack from the bogus news that Cheesy is coming back, I'm gonna sue the ass off whoever thought up that fiendish joke.:sadly:
But my first response was "My God, he's been banned on every other forum, now he's trying to come back here!" I googled him once and found his posts on half a dozen or more forums, ALL of which he got banned from. I'd guess he lasted longer here than anywhere.

I have NO sympathy for him, especially since he apparentlly refused to let Jafar do a simple moderating job. The presence of Cheesy and others who show unyielding hate for Islam is pretty much enough to turn me off permanently. I will NEVER wish he was back, not even because he was easy to make fun of.

I didn't like the way he treated Jafar. Personally, I think Jafar is a wonderful addition to the mod staff. He's fair, personable, and has a neat sense of humor. I don't have a problem with Muslims or Christians.
I do, however, have a problem with extremists of both. Jafar is no extremist by any stretch of the imagination.
CWN deserved to go.

You weren't here, you don't know what happened, but below is just one thread where bringing him back was discussed. He seems perfectly happy where he is and I don't think it's fair that we discuss him without him being here.
Labrocca's main rule as is every rule on any forum I've ever been to. When a poster is causing more posters to leave every day, then for the best of the forum, that poster has got to go. I like Chess, but as I said, the forum comes first and he's happy where he is.

Who is jim? If it's chess I actually sent him a rather personal message after he left trying to figure out why he did what he did. If you want to blame me to an extent then fine, I was one of, if not the, strongest advocate for his banning on staff. At the same time I didn't have anything personal with him, and I think I was the only liberal he actually tolerated or even respected to some degree. I just thought he was harmful to the forum.

I thought you were about fresh starts. Why not give him a conditional unbanning. Either he behaves himself or thats it, also avoids Jafar like the plague. People wont leave if he behaves himself. Besides the ones who say they will leave are just either full of crap or throwing the same kind of tantrum that Chess threw.

Jafar moved a post. Jafar is a Muslim. That is what all this is about. He trashed the site, said things that no one should say, begged to be banned and he got his wish. I'm not going to do what other posters do and bring discussions from other forums here, nor am I going to allow a discussion on the forum about another poster that was banned continue without that poster being here to have his say....been there, done that.
Nevada, or anyone else that wants to plead Chess' case can do so via PM.........and Zo's email is in his profile if Chess wants to talk to him directly. He's the adm. here and he's proven himself to be more than fair and willing to listen to both sides. I'm going to close this thread, if Zo decides he wants more discussion in open forum instead of PM or email, it's his decision to re-open it. I won't be upset. Like I said, I don't think it's fair to discuss a memeber without them putting in their imput and I also don't want Chess back to do it.
