View Full Version : editing w/o evidence
There used to be a very small window of time to edit without the 'modified post' alert being typed in.
This is very useful for when one posts, sees a misspelling or something, and seeks to change it real quick.
I don't like the change that makes it look no different than if I had come back after 58 minutes and changed content.

Nothing has been changed with that, at least not since labrocca left. If you do a "quick edit" it will not say "last edited..." until the entire page is reloaded.
Could we have 30 or 60 seconds to edit where it doesn't say that at all?
Thanks.

I thought when I joined.. you could only edit within a 60 min time frame.. now.. its editable forever..
didn't that change?.. I know at one time i couldn't go back and edit what i posted before..( the 60 min ).. now I can go back and edit my first post.. whats up with that?
You can still only edit for 60 minutes.

That's not an option with the current software. I keep getting told different things for when we're going to vBulletin, and I've been told "tonight or tomorrow morning" about 3 times now. But, still, if it's possible on MyBB it requires an add on, something there's really no point in doing at this point. I can see if I can make that change on vBulletin, but I'm not sure if it's possible.
I forgot about that. I'm on other vb boards and we can do that there, thanks!

I love vBulletin, When is that gonna happen? :clapper:
Can you set it to where we can make edits after 60 minutes?
That's not a good idea. 60 minutes is generous considering the type of forum we have here.
