I have had it. The PM thing is messed up. You'll be in the middle of replying to a PM and it disappears, then people fuss at you for sending their PMs back to them.
Can we please fix this? Otherwise, you people can email me.

LOL, I never had this problem before, but it is frustrating.

I thought you were f'ing with me, sending my own pm back to me. Some kind of coded message I was too dumb to understand or something!

Gaaaahhhh! This has happened to me many times. I even wait for all of it to load, and when it says "Done," I still wait a few seconds, and when I try to reply, halfway through the message....POOF! Then people fuss. Gaaahh!
Sorry, Mia, I sure didn't want to make you feel bad. I'm sorry, it must be a glitch.
Can this be fixed?

Hey Pookie,

I have never had this happen, I wonder it it could be something with your keyboard or perhaps you are accidentally brushing the enter key while the focus is still on the Send Message button?

Likely it's the same thing it has been. Slow loading page elements take forever, or javascript reloads something at a certain interval. When this finishes it puts the focus on the page element. This causes backspace to activate the back button, enter to submit the form, and other behaviors. So, the solution is simple.. don't use backspace or enter! :)

Just a little 2 cents based on web knowledge.

I was wondering about the current focus but she said she was waiting for all the elements to load before typing so I had discounted that option. It certainly could be the case though.

This happens with my laptop when I connect through my cell phone, which connects at about 250kbps, far slower than cable. It never happens with my normal internet connection on my desktop.

I think the problem is the connection your own. What I do, when using my laptop, is I tell the page to stop loading before I start typing. That seems to prevent any issues.

this stuff is happening to me on a superfast connection.. luckily since i only use runon sentences and never make mistakes, it's not much of a problem, i just lose a couple words.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I'm fairly computer-savvy, and I haven't seen this anywhere else.

Yeah! That works. She just got a pos rep from me for that, and well-deserved.
