I thought it would be a neat endeavor, to put Mr. Romney's speech next to Mr. Obama's speech, and have a discussion about the contrasts between the two. Obviously, I'm biased and have my opinions about both.

The Romney speech to me, was an up-lifting speech.

The Obama speech, left me feeling like I should sit in the corner for being bad.

How do you folks chime in on this?

Romney's speech was about nothing more than "I'm close enough to a Christian - lets put our minor differences behind us and hate Muslims and gay people together!" It was an exclusionary and divisive speech, one in which he attempted to put himself on the right side of the divide. The fact that it was compared to JFK's speech was an abomination.

Obama's speech (much like the JFK speech I previously mentioned) is an inclusionary speech, that while we may all have differences, we're ultimately all in this together.

LOL!

Well, I did ask for opinions...

I guess Obama's speech was inclusive, in the fact that he says we are all rascists, so sut up already about my flamming rascist pastor of 20 years.

Yeah, that's JFK-like :dizzy:
