As you might already heard, efforts by ex-Soviet Ukraine and Georgia to start early talks on NATO membership tool a knock last week as allies disagreed on whether to embark on moves that would risk the very existence of the Treaty.
Diplomats said Germany and France led resistance by half a dozen western European nations including Greece, Italy, Norway and Spain, to a US-led push by eastern ex-communist countries to offer Ukraine and Georgia a "membership action plan" (MAP) at an April 2-4 summit in Bucharest.
Looks like NATO is on the verge of a break-up brought about by Washington's hangers-on like Poland, Estonia and the very two pro-American countries – Ukraine and Georgia!
Well, maybe that's even to the better. NATO has survived usefulness and has become totally unable to solve breach issues. That would be enough serving the US as we used to do! Old Europe can make do with yankees! I think it is about time we abandon NATO to make our own Treaty of Western European countries without either US or its European dependents. We can do it! Play second fiddle is not for Europe!

We don't need NATO and NATO doesn't need the US. The US needs to abdicate its role in NATO immediately and leave it to the Europeans.:bye:

We don't need to "take them out" We can merely sell them to the host country. We don't need them. We have so many ICBM's we could annihilate the world 100 times over.. Is that enough for you?
