The story here (http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/03/12/reporter.attacked.ap/index.html?eref=rss_topstories#cnnSTCText)

Three people upset that a news crew was reporting on the arrest of a relative attacked the television reporter and yelled racial slurs at her and a photographer, authorities said Tuesday.

The family members, all white, began yelling and charged at black WSPA-TV reporter Charmayne Brown while she was standing in the street near the family's home in Union, said news director Alex Bongiorno.

Brown was punched in the head, and black cameraman Ti Barnes was also struck as he tried to pull family members off Brown, Bongiorno said. A video of the attack shows Brown, who wasn't seriously injured, defending herself. Watch how attack unfolded

I find it disturbing. It's disgusting how hateful the family must be to do this. If they didn't like the report on their criminal family, they should have written a letter. Attacking a news crew does nothing to help anyone here . Looking at the picture, I see an old woman in her robes just standing there. It almost looks like she's cheering her delinquent family on.

Sickening that so much hatred still exists. What wonderful family values they must have...

Would you say the same thing if the family were colored?

You ask if I would say the same thing if roles were reversed?
A black family attacking a white news crew, screaming racial slurs?
Yes, I would.
Racism is racism.

Not sure why you would think color would make a difference. What the family did was wrong, no matter what their color is.

Yeah, I bet you would.

I guess we shouldn't let colored communities to get their way everytime they riot. Right? Like the Rodney King Riots.

Colored, eh? Did we slip into a time machine?

Well, there is a whole world out there. It might be a good idea to learn something about it.

It's one of the terms that I grew up hearing, among others. I can use one of the others, if you perfer.

Not sure why you'd think I wouldn't.

Because you are a Liberal and I'm sure you live by the same politically correct double standard that all Liberals live by.

Sorry, but looking at that gang, they vote democrat. If any of them can still vote! I bet they still have "Kerry/Edwards" bumper stickers covering the bullet holes in their trailer windows.
Of course, the skinhead with the Charlie Brown short-sleeved sweater is more than likely a Ron Paul supporter.

Go Fish, you can feign unawareness on this issue if you like. But everyone knows that extreme hick ignorance prefers the political stylings of the GOP.:lmao:

Aw, come on. You don't think that they always vote themselves pay raises by voting "D"? I bet they do.

They skip what I consider the important part, which is what exactly was going on before the attack started. I've watched so many paparazzi-inspired reporters harassing people that I frankly think a good ass-kicking is often appropriate in those situations (regardless of the race of the people involved.)

Nice assumption. Wrong, but it's funny still.

Unless those same, "hicks", are collecting welfare, in which case, you know who they'll be voting for.
