Once again, the Dems have stolen their party's agenda from the pen of Aaron Sorkin and the West Wing fiction department. In the last season of the show, Jimmy Smits' character launches into an invective on how New Hampshire and Iowa are "too white" to allow minority or truly liberal candidates to succeed in early Dem primaries. By the time CA or other states with large minority populations have their primaries, the nominations are all but decided.
So, Howie Dean has lifted his party's policies from a fictional TV show and added Nevada, a state with large minority populations (in Las Vegas, especially), into the early mix of primaries and caucuses.
Might as well just hire Sorkin to run their DNC.. .couldn't do any worse than Dean.
