McCain Backtracks From ‘No New Taxes’ Pledge, Ditches His Social Security Plan In Favor Of Bush’s

Two weeks ago, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) took the “Read My Lips” plunge, proclaiming that as president he would not raise taxes for any reason. “No new taxes,” he declared twice in an interview with ABC News.

Congrats December, no one hates McCain quite as much as you. I don't love him either, but I never understood why you hate him so damn much. Just my .02

So if McCain as president increases taxed will you impeach on lies of a promise? Or will you embrace them as a necessity? Just curious?

that's the biggest question. If he does increase taxes as president will you embrace it or will you be against it.

I will be against it. I also never said I was voting for this character. I'd be pissed if he broke the promise and raised taxes.

The whole point of my comment is that while I agree with some of what Dec. says about McCain, I don't get why he despises him so damn much. I don't like McCain, but I still think he is an okay guy somewhat.

McCain is a flip flopper from the get go. Many Conservatives do not want him as President. He votes with the Democrats and campaigns against anything he's voted for, including the bills he helped write with a Democrat...go figure. Do we need a President like that? You decide.

4Reaganomics.........I've admitted many times economy isn't my strong suit. Your profile says that you're an Economics Student. No one likes to pay taxes, but can you tell me anyother way the debt can be paid off?
