The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that John McCain continues to hold a very modest lead against both potential Democratic challengers. In a general election match-up, McCain now leads Barack Obama 46% to 44% and Hillary Clinton 48% to 44%. McCain has led both Democrats on each night of individual tracking since the controversial New York Times article on McCain was released earlier this week

I think he will make it for sure. I think people are tired of the same old same old. People want the troops out of Iraq. Hillary voted for the war and Mccain wants to stay. I will not vote out of fear and I do not think the majority will vote out of fear again either. If he gets shot, well, any president takes that chance when they take the oath of office.

As a foreign observer I feel saddened by the choices offered for candidates. You either have "skeletons in the closet" Clinton, "I'm a Neo CONman" Obama, or "Bomb Iran" McCain to chose from at the moment. Is that the best you have to offer?

What sources are you using to back your statements up? Please post the links to them, we'd like to see how you've come to this conclusion.

The Dems could have nominated a ham sandwich, and the conventional wisdom was that they should win.
Unpopular President, unpopular war, economic downturn, clamor for "Change" drummed-up general angst, etc...All thing being equal, they should run away with it, right?
Right...But this is the Dem party. They never seem to make thing easy for themselves.

If they don't end up tearing their party apart through idiotic rules, equally idiotic Super Dels, and their general lunacy, Hillary will do it for them anyway.

Then, after that happens they will then have to deal with Nader.

Plus Obama is a lightweight, cotton candy, messianic, puff-ball, empty suit, pablum-spitting, naked orating emperor who will act as a "hot shot" to this country's economy and will beckon America into the "Socialist-Age".
Once people start actually paying attention to his grand plans, they will realize that what he proposes is not only bad, it is IMPOSSIBLE.
