(CNN) -- A visibly angry Sen. Hillary Clinton lashed out Saturday at Sen. Barack Obama over campaign literature that she said he knows is "blatantly false."
Clinton jabbed the air with her hands as she told a crowd in Cincinnati, Ohio, that two Obama mailings spread lies about her positions on universal health care and the North American Free Trade Agreement.
"Shame on you, Barack Obama," she said.

This article about Obama being dirty most likely is true but I'm hoping that it's not because now this would make him look just as vile as Hilary.

Bout time.
Now the fun part starts...the part where the Clintons tear the Dem party apart.
I've been waiting for this.
Yeah, Hillary is going to go away quietly!

(Sports analogy that 90% of you won't understand)
This reminds me of watching Dennis Rodman. Rodman went at the opposing team and gets under their skin, and right when they went off he'd throw up his hand and look bewildered and his opponent would get the foul called.
Hillary and Obama have largely been at an equal level in terms of attacks this election, but it's good to see Obama actually getting called on something for once.

This sounds like a last ditch effort for Hillary. It is hard for her to admit that she is losing the race especially after the media has been predicting her to be front runner before the race began. All the bragging she has done earlier is coming back to haunt her. I predict that she will call it quits within two weeks unless she thinks she can sway all the super delegates.

Clinton scolds Obama, aims to rescue White House bid
Feb 23 05:35 PM US/Eastern
Hillary: Obama ‘Continues to Spend Millions of Dollars Perpetuating Falsehoods’
White House hopeful Hillary Clinton launched a scathing attack on Democratic rival Barack Obama Saturday in a bid to restore her front-runner status ahead of key nominating contests next month.
After a day of denying that a series of 11 straight losses to Obama left her campaign teetering on the edge of defeat, Clinton changed to a sharper tone and went on the offensive.
"Shame on you, Barack Obama," Clinton said during a campaign rally in Ohio, which along with the southern state of Texas holds key Democratic nominating contests on March 4.
"It is time you ran a campaign consistent with your messages in public. That's what I expect from you. Meet me in Ohio. Let's have a debate about your tactics and your behavior in this campaign."
The 60-year-old New York senator -- who accused the Obama campaign of sending out misleading policy mailings about health care and free trade -- and the 46-year-old Illinois senator are to meet for a final televised debate on Tuesday in Cleveland, Ohio.
Let's see if Obama takes the bait.
This Tues will tell!
BTW, her rhetoric alone won't be enough.
Her campaign needs a body-blow followed by an uppercut.
A foot stomp would help too.

Obama's response was priceless
"I'm puzzled" and "When is the truth an attack?"
Puzzled? Shouldn't be...it's the Clintons.
This "truth vs attack" complaint has been used against the right for decades, and you're just seeing it now???
Keep your gloves up, hombre![hr]Obama's outrage has got to be feigned.
Everyone knows what to expect from the Clintons, including his campaign.
This is a very effective way of dealing with her, and getting further under her skin in the process.

both of them support the economic status quo, and both of them support nafta, but why get their voting records get in the way? it isn't like voters pay attention to boring ol' crap like that, right? all that matters is the tabloid b.s. of the campaigns, and the stellar "reporting" done by the media. *and they're neck and neck around turn 3...*
clinton has repeatedly claimed that nafta was a success before she became a senator. cute that she supposedly was against it behind closed doors, despite having championed it when in public. really speaks volumes about how much her scumbag self should be trusted.
and as for obama... just yesterday said that he wouldn't get rid of nafta - after making political hay out of clinton's public support for it. he is clearly betting that voters won't bother to separate campaign rhetoric from voting record reality - and that is definitely a bet that he will win.

On Saturday, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton showed her angry side, admonishing Senator Barack Obama for a campaign mailing that she called misleading.
On Sunday, before a rally of several thousand, she added a heavy dose of sarcasm.“Now I could stand up here and say, let’s get everybody together, let’s get unified the sky will open, the light will come down, celestial choirs will be singing,” she said, to a smattering of giggles. “And everyone will know we should do the right thing, and the world will be perfect.”http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/02/24/clinton-turns-from-anger-to-sarcasm/
"Shame on you, Barack Obama."
Clutching two of Obama campaign mailings in her hand for emphasis, the former first lady said, "enough with the speeches and the big rallies and then using tactics that are right out of Karl Rove's playbook."
"Meet me in Ohio," she said. "Let's have a debate about your tactics and your behavior in this campaign."
In her criticism of Obama, she asked, "Since when do Democrats attack one another on universal health care?"http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080224/D8V0MLC80.html
Finally!
I thought I was watching "Hillary the pod-person" for the past year.
Kept asking myself, "who is this person and what did they do with Hillary?"
If she acted like the Hilary we all know instead of some canned ham, she would have sewed this thing up long ago. (She wasn't fooling anybody anyway).
This could work, but it certainly is a last-ditch effort.
Too little too late.

I'm not so sure, mic.
I'm looking for a total public breakdown a la Brittany, or Nick Nolte.
However, if she uses this debate opportunity to gracefully bow out, I will be very surprised.
If she does, her political future will continue, if she takes this to Aug in Denver the fallout for the Dems will be devastating.
We all have experience with her behavior for the last 35 years.
I don't feel sorry for the left when Hillary turns it on her own party.

No, I don't. Because that will be the end of her campaign. Even if she were to beat Obama she would never escape that sort of outcry and she would never be elected then. Hell she is still trying to get passed some people by the mudslinging she has done that was pretty mild.

Remember Linda Blair in the "Exorcist"?
Ever see Bates in "Misery"?
Imagine a morph of those two coming at you.
If she doesn't throw her mask off now, Hillary might as well take this opportunity to to gracefully concede.
Otherwise, what's the point?
I really can't believe how badly she has run her campaign. Since this aired, what was virtually a tie in Texas has given Obama a commanding lead. He should be down on his knees thanking her. It's going to be history making either way.......a black man or a white woman.......but honestly, with this shrieking, holding pamphlets in both hands, makes her look like she needs a shot of estrogen.....and honestly besides looking like a damned fool, would anyone want her behind the desk if something happened? I think I would rather have a stumped man, sitting there holding My Pet Goat for 7 minutes than irrationality.
It's going to be fun, watching the Republican play book that has had to be set in stone for over a year now, scramble and change up tactics, they were so positive that Hillary was going to be the chosen one.
Yep, I too think it's going to be Rumble in the Jungle tonight........my only decision I have to make is do I watch it live or set me TIVO so I can replay all the good parts?
I don't see Obama losing his cool and that's going to be a big plus.

Obama is in the proverbial cat-bird seat.
If he can escape tonight with nothing more than a few claw scratches, he lives to fight another day...from a distinct advantage.
IMO, if Hillary doesn't bow out tonight, she will be embarrassed in OH and TX.
This will trigger her psychotic break-down.
Edit: I agree, the Hillary campaign was/is an embarrassment.
By all counts she should have been swept into the White House.

This is great, from the politico...Looking forward, it is clear Clinton’s team has only a faint and highly improvisational strategy about what to do over the next seven days. Simply put, there is no secret weapon.
Communications chief Howard Wolfson — echoing a strong belief of the Clintons themselves — blamed the news media Monday for allegedly tossing bouquets to Obama whenever he criticizes Clinton but writing that she is throwing low blows whenever she draws contrasts with him.
Some Clintonites are disappointed with the candidate herself. Lines that were meant to be funny or show fighting spirit — “change you can Xerox” or “Shame on you, Barack Obama” — instead came off as peevish.
But mostly the campaign has become a grim slog. Unable to make anything stick, the campaign is throwing out a dizzying array of potential storylines each day.
Here it is...Guarantee this is what's coming.
Hooo Boy...“I think Sen. Obama's entire campaign against Sen. Clinton is negative,” Wolfson said. “I think he has run against her as the status quo. … He has essentially called her divisive. He has called her untruthful. He has questioned her credibility. He has said she will do or say anything to get elected. Now, if that's not negative, I don't know what negative is.” This approach is characterized by her campaign thusly...“She’s going to challenge in a healthy, successful way,” the senior adviser said. “Voters will see that she’s the right person to be commander in chief, the right person to manage the economy and the right person to beat John McCain. If the debate shows those three things, it’ll be a successful debate for her.”
“What she’s doing in this week is going through some of the major piece of why she should be president,” the adviser said. “She’d be a good commander in chief. She could manage the economy. She has a compassionate, caring view of the economy. Together, they’re a storyline of why she should be president.”http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0208/8692_Page2.html

Hillary has forgotten the golden rule of politics K.I.S.S. = Keep It Simple Stupid. The average I.Q. is 100, that's AVERAGE. Even for the democratic party it's probably 110 (LOL jk). You've got no more than 10 words, and you have to stay by it no matter how irrational and stupid it sounds to those of us that understand what a compound sentence is.
Fight them there so we don't have to fight them here = 11 words (too much?)
Cut n' Run =2.5
Change = 1
I guess they've all got to be 1 syllable words too.
See my point? Clinton needs something simple and so stupid as to repulse anyone who passed 11th grade on merit alone..
I'm trying to think of some, but being raised without a biological mother for most of my life any euphemisms that incorporate the female gender invariably use the word 'bitch', which while accurate, isn't the best sell..[hr]WAIT, I've got it, this is really repulsively stupid.

i disagree. hillary has poor communication skills and the fact that she can't say her point in a concise manner is evidence to that. listening to her rambling "answers" in the debates only serves to give me a pounding headache. it's probably a very strong reason why her "message" has never resonated with voters in the primaries. (whatever her message is, that is...)
if people get lost because the person rambles, verging on incoherence, it does not mean that they aren't intelligent.
