This one could get interesting.

February 16, 2008 -- Barack Obama's primary-night results were strikingly underrecorded in several districts around the city - in some cases leaving him with zero votes when, in fact, he had pulled in hundreds, the Board of Elections said yesterday.

Unofficial primary results gave Obama no votes in nearly 80 districts, including Harlem's 94th and other historically black areas - but many of those initial tallies proved to be wildly off the mark, the board said.

In some districts getting a recount, the senator from Illinois is even closer to defeating Hillary Clinton.

Initial results in the 94th, for example, showed a 141-0 sweep for Hillary Clinton, but the recount changed the tally to 261-136.

As yet, none of the results have been certified, but a ballot-by-ballot canvassing of all voting machines has begun, a board spokesperson said. Many of the mistakes were chalked up to human error -- and some Clinton tallies were wrong as well. In several congressional districts she was shown as having received zero votes when in fact she got hundreds, Boe said.

Brooklyn City Councilman Charles Barron called the understated figures "outrageous."

"I think this is an all-out effort to stop a campaign that is about to make history and render America's first black president," he said. "We need some kind of independent or federal agency to investigate this."icate that she may not even come out the winner - Obama currently has 116 votes to her 118.

IMO the Clintons will do anything to get elected.
They are Big League, Baby.
Once Obama realizes this and starts defending every vote the better, otherwise she will steamroll his ass.

even the old lever machines can either be rigged or prone to error. good thing there's actually a paper trail to actually be able to count.. we'll get a great taste of diebold failures in the upcoming presidential election no doubt.

both campaigns don't seem to be making any big issues about this.. i suspect this story doesn't have any legs.

Accusations of election fraud among Democrats?
Ha, it's a Mexican stand-off...first one pulls the trigger and they all die.
It'll probably come down to who can cheat the most...They're most likely finalizing all the details behind closed doors right now.

"OK Hillary, you cheat in central Ohio, and you give me the south-west of the state".
Hell yeah, I can hear them now...

Accusations of election fraud among Democrats?

Does that mean that if a Democrat wins the presidency, the Republicans can cry foul for four years?

the appropriate question would be - will they cry foul? especially if there are some "quirks" with the paperless electronic voting machines.

Personally, I don't want a paper trail on my vote. It will make it too easy for Liberals to try and intimidate me into voting how they want me to.

There do seem to have been some pretty severe errors in some areas of NY. I think its pretty unlikely that it was deliberate fraud, though - only a complete idiot would adjust the vote to give their opponent 0 votes. All it takes is one person willing to publicly testify that they voted for the guy with 0 votes to cause serious problems that way. Say what you will about Hillary, she's certainly far, far, FAR too intelligent to commit such obvious and easily discovered fraud.

You don't seem like a guy easily intimidated.

Umm... No.

Her henchmen hacked New Hampshire, too.

I dont care which party steals votes.... whoever did it should be prosecuted as traitors.

You asshats who looked the other way, or cried "sour grapes" when your party has been doing the same thing... disgust me. You should be flushed down a giant toilet because you are nothing more than fecal waste.

ZERO votes for 80 Districts in New York?? BULLSHIT.

Its Election fraud. Get a rope. Go after the SoS first.[hr]There is ONLY one day when this country ACTS like a democracy. On Election day.

Take that away and we are a fascist state..

We dont need no goddamned election charade either.

They are treating us like idiots.

Wow so liberals intimidate you? That's good to know. I didn't realize someone could be so intimidated by liberals. It's so......cute.

They are recounting them, and Obama's getting lots of votes.

Well geeze. If you are a serious candidate for presidency, I am sure you will be doing everything you can do to get elected. And running for president means you are big league.

Problem is Obama hasn't got it together yet, so while he is talking change, nobody knows what that means. Wish him luck anyway. If he loses we might end up having national wide riots again.

I hope Hillary sets aside some money to buy the Supreme Court with. I would hate to come this far only to see the SC rule in favor of McCain in some of those dirty SC dealings in elections.

I agree, Shintao.
If it is perceived that Hillary "Robbed" Obama of the nomination...look out!
This is probably the best scenario for the GOP in Nov.
They have little chance of winning otherwise.
