FINALLY! A board with liberals, libertarians and some moderates. I think I have struck gold.
Hi Y'all. I am RevoLting.
I am a married lesbian from Georgia. I do hope you allow people of differing sexual preferences to post here without suffering the name calling. I will keep my bags packed and zipped until that question is answered.
Like I said, I'm a married lesbian with 3 children. Been married for 36 years to the same woman. My wife knows I'm a lesbian and she has no problem with it. She's very understanding and most helpful (she knew I was a lesbian before we got married).
I too come from that board that is far, far away. Some have come before me (they didn't give me a link, I had to read about it.... over THERE), whom I am not worthy to lace their shoes (I'm true to my crew - thanks Belle). Good people all, even though they like to kid me and make fun of my pic's. I posted a pic over THERE of myself and my family (bad idea). Due to a genetic medical condition, I have only one toof that is very prominent when I smile. My kids (I love them dearly) have big ears like Barack and my wife has an (_!_) like Hillary. Some people thought I was joking and made some pretty nasty comments about them. I truly hope that doesn't start all over again, here (I will not be posting pics of my family ever again. I learned my lesson).
I love political discussions, and if I venture out from there, it will be to current events. Well, I do enjoy discussing religion from time to time, so I may join in that too.
Politically, I am all over the board. Sometimes I lean to the left of Michael Moore. At others, I'm to the right of Attila the Hun (I think we should hunt down those responsible for 9-11, but, I don't believe we should retaliate against them until they've been given a fair trial in our courts. If found guilty, I think they should be incarcerated until they've been rehabilitated). It's time we take our country back from those spending us into poverty and sending our kids to a certain death in parts of the world we have no business being in, just so Bush, Cheney and their oil buddies can get rich. The last 7 years have been pure hell for me. I was a Dennis Kucinich supporter until he dropped out. Right now, I'm leaning towards Barack Obama (he's HOT).
Education - I didn't go to collage. (Been going to nite shcool for 6 yrs to get my GED)
Occupation - Technical Applications Specialist (some call me a painter)
I gotta stop right here, I'm getting hoarse.
Looking forward to some mature discussions without all the name-calling.
