Hezbollah issued the following statement:
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
((Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least)) Almighty Allah has spoken the truth.
With pride and honor, we announce the martyrdom of a great resistance leader who joined the procession of Islamic Resistance martyrs. After a life full of Jihad, sacrifices and accomplishments lived with a longing to martyrdom, Islamic Resistance leader Hajj Imad Moghniyeh (Hajj Radwan) was assassinated by Israeli criminal hands. The martyr, may his soul rest in peace, had been a target for the Zionists for more than 20 years.
Almighty Allah has chosen him to be a martyr on the hands of His Prophet's killers who know that we have a long battle with them and the blood of martyrs especially our leaders has always taken our resistance to a higher and stronger level, just like when our two great leaders, Sheikh Ragheb Harb and Sayyed Abbas Moussawi were martyred.
We pledge to continue the martyr's path until achieving complete victory, God willing.
We offer our sincere condolences to the martyr's family and his brothers in arms and we congratulate all resistance fighters for the Divine legion of honor.

Mossad: Moghniyeh Assassination Required Years of Work
19/02/2008
Former Mossad chief in Beirut Eliezer Tsafrir said that the assassination of Islamic Resistance top commander Imad Moghniyyeh would have required years of patient intelligence work and information gathering by dozens of agents.
Tsafrir, who retired in 1992 after an intelligence career that included heading Mossad operations in Kurdistan and Tehran, looked back on Moghniyyeh career.
"It's just after Israel invaded Lebanon in the early 1980s that the Mossad's agents in Beirut became aware of the young Moghniyyeh," he said adding that the "Mossad was at the time active alongside the Israeli military and was in close contact with Lebanese Christian leaders allied with Israel".
According to the Israeli spy, Moghniyeh's attacks had a "personal aspect". He explained that his brother, an Israeli military officer, barely survived a 1983 car bomb attack that targeted the Israeli occupation army's headquarters in the southern port city of Tyre, and his son, commander of a tank, was only steps away from death at another 'Moghniyyeh-planned' car bomb operation targeting an Israeli convoy in south Lebanon, four years later. "Mossad agents were shocked by Moghniyyeh's tactics", he said, referring to the widespread use of martyrdom operations.
"We asked ourselves how can this be", Tsaffrir pointed out. "We concluded that the Shiites form an extreme sect and that's why they can do things of this kind", he claimed. "We asked ourselves whether it was possible the Palestinians would follow their lead, but thought it wasn't because the Palestinians were Sunnis and more moderate… We were wrong", he proceeded.
Tsafrir also noted that Moghniyyeh's name was raised in connection with the Mossad's search for Israeli pilot Ron Araad. "At each stage, the name Moghniyyeh pops up again", he asserted.
Concerning Moghniyyeh's assassination, Tsaffrir admitted that Israel and the US were 'perhaps' the top list of suspects. However, "countries like France, Germany, and Saudi Arabia also had 'unsettled accounts' with him", he noted.
'His assassination was, no doubt, a complicated intelligence operation that required years of intelligence work, months of planning and dozens of people", he stated adding that an "operation like this would take tremendous amounts of intelligence through humans not electronically". "It's crucial to find people, to check the location, to install the device, and to escape. It's not a simple task in a hostile capital", he noted.
"The agents could be recruited or infiltrated into the organization or even both. But there would be dozens involved", he said asserting at the same time that "no one of them was aware the others' existence or their tasks, they would only know what they needed to know".

I wouldn't call him a martyr, December.
I would. He fought for freedom of his people and died from the hands of Zionist agents.

Local Mom in this story. I'm cheering right along with her.
I thank my God that I had the opportunity to build and load bombs to kill people like this jihadist jerk Mughniyeh. I hope he spends eternity being raped by swine.

"MY" God is the one that gets me through every day, the one which helps me differentiate friend friend from foe, and granted me the good sense and ability to do my part to grind my worst enemies to dust in my own little way. I'd be a real idiot to embrace one which would let a muslim kill my children or my grandchildren.
In all seriousness, I have never met God, but I suspect he's out there. All I know is that while I'm still drawing breath, I won't feel sorry for bums, I won't devote my efforts to fairy tales, and I won't respect anyone's religion. It's all a bunch of voodoo bullshit designed to control idiots. Right now, the major threat to world peace is the religion wearing the goddamned turbans, so I am majorly against them.
Care to change my mind? I'd be saying the same thing if we were going through the Spanish Inquisition right now. That said, John Lennon was a frigging idiot. His religion was socialism.

Oh, but according to Jafar, Hezbollah is a bonafide, justified and legal resistance movement. Not terrorists at all.

Well, I did read it. I'm also able to discern the difference between pukes who kill women and children indiscriminately and soldiers fighting for a just cause against other soldiers. That's something you're apparently unable to do.

The UN Charter supports their existence actually.[hr]

Maybe you should join the US Army then. There are more than a handful of such "Pukes" in that particular establishment.
