The board has really changed. We have a lot of Libertarians and Conservatives now.

Hey, exigent!
The libs here have converted me to "Marxist".
Sorry you missed it.

I haven't got around to changing it on my profile just yet, though.:)

Welcome back! Glad to see you worked things out with you wife, divorce isn't a pretty thing.

Oh, and just so you're prepared, a lot has happened since you left. For starters I became a born again Christian and an ardent Bush supporter. Also, due to pres's recent conversion to liberalism and some other revelations, I've been spending my last few weeks fending off marriage proposals from that sinful heathen. He keeps telling me he wants to move to Boston with me so he can be himself. I think he's trying to recruit me. :scared:

Interesting. Maybe hanging around these types of boards screws up your perception...

side note... +1 for me for calling my wife's bluff. I was mentally prepared (I had completely moved in to the spare bedroom for starters) but she came to me wanting to talk things out which I appreciated. Next time she wont throw the D word around so recklessly.

Welcome back; I missed you.

Marriage is tough, but IMO it is God trying to get our attention.

You're one of the most reasonable members we have.

So you just assumed I'd say yes? This is what happens when you don't check with both people first!

I am glad to hear this. Welcome back, and bless you for saving your marriage. Too many folks find it too easy to run from problems, but you sure didn't run.
Purrs to you,
Pookie
